Tribeca Investment Partners sponsor Fashion with Compassion to help women in Cambodia

Tribeca recently co-sponsored a fundraising fashion parade that took place at Macquarie Group. The event was held to raise much needed funds for vulnerable young women in Cambodia, at risk of forced labour and sex trafficking.

The event for Lotus Outreach Australia raised over $85,000 towards a scholarship program that offers girls an education, an alternative to forced labour. The scholarship program covers all costs associated with schooling, providing families with a nutrition program and the girls with bicycles to get away from would be predators.

The sold-out show in Sydney saw television personality and style commentator, Melissa Hoyer, emcee while singer Darren Percival and DJs entertained the crowd.

A selection of Australia’s best known designers with collections from Ginger & Smart, Camilla and Marc, Carla Zampatti, We are Kindred, Rebecca Vallance, Moss and a Spy and several international designers from Curve displayed on professional catwalk models.

A live auction of the outfits in addition to pieces from other designers such as Dion Lee and Camilla were available to the highest bidder, along with other donated experiences such as a ski holiday and many donated products.

Tribeca is proud to be an ongoing supporter of Lotus Outreach Australia and is dedicated to making a difference in Cambodia.
